I find it surprising that 1 out of 30 Japanese babies has a non-Japanese parent. However, statistics are statistics and there is no denying the truth. Around 19,000 of the babies had non-Japanese fathers, 26,000 had non- Japanese mothers. read more »

After seeing Lucky Star it seems more and more people want to visit the shrine where Tsukasa and Kagami were at. Made some of the locals mad for a while too, though they seem to be embracing it since the Otaku are are really boosting the economy for them. read more »

Even though over half the U.S. Japanese population was living in Hawaii during WWII, only a sliver of them were put in internment camps (versus on the mainland, where almost all Japanese were put away). How did this happen, especially since Japanese in Hawaii had closer ties to the Empire of Japan? read more »
