Asakusa's annual samba carnival was hit with downpours midway through but this failed to dampen the performers' spirits.

Every August, Asakusa puts on its own bit of Carneval with scantily-cald Brazilians and Japanese woemn dancing the samba to the whir and click of a thousand horny photographers.

And with little to no makeup, as well, IMO....If I were you, I'd wear a face mask on the trains just like everybody else does. As...Good point. I used to love living on Yen and watching the dollar drop in value....So, um, how does one find his/her rooms.
And do they come gaijin-size?...That's not very surprising to me. Almost comparable with American society.
