Manto-kun is the new rival for the hideous Nara mascot Sento-kun. This article is in Japanese, from the Asahi Shimbun, but it includes pictures of both characters. Take a look. The freaky looking deer-horned Buddha is out, and the little caped Pokémon looking fellow is in. Hooray!
