I used to live in Nagoya when the JR twin towers were being built. It was amazing watching those towers grow higher and higher each month. Since I moved away from the big city, the huge Midland Square skyscraper opened in front of JR Central Towers, and now another one skyscraper - Spiral Towers - is about to open. This one looks pretty flash, too. At this rate, Nagoya's Meieki area will soon resemble Shinjuku!

And with little to no makeup, as well, IMO....If I were you, I'd wear a face mask on the trains just like everybody else does. As...Good point. I used to love living on Yen and watching the dollar drop in value....So, um, how does one find his/her rooms.
And do they come gaijin-size?...That's not very surprising to me. Almost comparable with American society.
