This wonderful little cafe was introduced to me by a good friend who's involved in the NPO which runs the cafe. They organise several projects around the world, one of which is producing real Free Trade coffee beans in Ethiopia which are used in Cafe AKIRA and taste simply amazing.

I hate the move in Japan to have less places to smoke. When will people understand coffee and smoking are the best of friends. What kind of person goes into a coffee shop and get pissed when they have to smell smoke? Crazy man! From that I can tell most people, in Tokyo at least, do smoke. Control of society is what I call these anti-smoking people. Less people will smoke when less people want to smoke less. I say if someone does not want to smell smoke at the coffee shop then buy a cup and drink it outside!
