Japan to make Asia-wide bus and train pass

If you regularly hop between Asia's biggest cities (which I can't imagine you'd want to with all that fingerprinting nonsense going on), you might be interested in Japan's plans to create a bus and train pass which can be used in all of Asia's major cities. Apparently Japan thinks this is a good idea because it avoids language difficulties when having to buy a country-specific card. Hmmm... I suppose Japanese tourists might find this useful.
