A 72-year-old man accidentally left his car in gear yesterday, causing the vehicle to roll into a pit of trash. The vehicle fell 9 meters, but the man suffered only light injuries.

I can totally understand this happening. I've reversed my car up to the pit at my local incinerator a few times, and I can't recall there be anything to stop you driving right in!
Too funny - in Hawaii we have had quite a few incidents in the last few years of old folks driving into stores but this one tops that! Possibly a sign that this person shouldn't be driving any more?
