Beer in Japan is plenty good, but I wonder if there's a place to find some imported stuff. I'd love to have a Sleeman every once in a while....

I was actually going to say Asahi. That is one damn tasty beer. Carrefour has important beer sometimes, but probably not too much of a selection.

Just my humble opinion, but to me the top four brands listed in the link all taste pretty much the same, like somewhat less watery versions of Budweiser. Need I say more? I can't believe that the one quality mass produced beer isn't in the top four, Ebisu. Most likely since it's not produced in as large numbers as the others. (Ebisu 'The Hop' is pretty darn tasty)
Anyone who lives in the Tokyo/Yokohama area should get their hands on any of the Kamakura Brewery beers. One of the few Japanese beers that I can say is amazing. If you love Pale Ales, your in for a treat. (Yes, I'm a bit of a beer Otaku...)
Peace Out,
Doug

Ebisu Black is the best beer in Japan. There is a local bar where I live which keeps the stuff on hand most of the time.
If you are looking for a good selection of import beers in Tokyo then go the Hobgoblin in Shibuya. They have a fine selection on beers from all over the world.
