Perhaps "litter" is not quite the word to describe the mountain of trash piled up in front of this guy's house. So much in fact, that it's got him arrested. Are you able to keep up with Japan's ever-changing, always complicated, trash disposal rules?

(for the...The first column is page views (I would guess) so that's from 661 thousand page...There was a similar case two years ago when a police sergeant drove to work drunk,...Takes one to know one....I don't know what they're called, but you put them in your boots to make them stand...And here's that follow-up post:

I break the rules quite of often. I just can't make myself remove the labels off the pet bottles.
I've gotten used to the little rubbish routines. We have a sort of stand with 3 big bins in it on top of which we can stack the pet bottles and such and a pair of scissors etc... My husband waxes and wanes with his willingness to take the extra time so I'm often seeing pura in the burnables but just small stuff. We've never had a wrongly-sorted bag left on the street or, as a friend has had done, on our doorstep! I think in our area we are kind of lucky, though, for example it's fine to put the rubbish out the night before but we are told in other areas that is a no-no.
