Nokia isn’t exactly one of the most popular cellphone companies in Japan. In fact, they only have a 1% market share and most of the phones that you actually see in the stores are adapted versions of the “normal” nokia phones you would find in the rest of the world. It seems that Nokia is aware of the fact that they need to do something about this because their current strategy just doesn’t seem to improve their popularity in Japan.
