Hmm yes - it's that data package that I'm sure will get the customer. Come Spring and the better weather (till Summer lol) I might give it a though. Till then I'm gong to see if I can rebuild my old tablet in any way and maybe find a new battery to see if I can get it detached from a plug in the wall lol!

I got my Eee PC mini notebook computer using a similar e-mobile promotion. So far I've been satisfied with e-mobile's speed and quality of service.

I can't use E-Mobile in my area. I am in that really small percent of the country that gets zero coverage - for nearly every available service. Grrrr. But I bought an Eee PC recently anyway - totally makes sense for me. Should get here soon. Can't wait.

This is an excellent deal. I purchased an Acer's Aspire One the other day using the same promotion Emobile is offering.
I paid 9000 yen for an Aspire one with 160Gigs/atom processor. It works like a snap for my Digital Photography. I did all the number crunching on it and think that Acers is a steal!
Out of the box it took me less than five minutes to get online. Yodobashi Camera in Yokohama, there's a guy named Kawakami who speaks fluent English. He can set everything up for you before you leave the story, he'll even charge it up for you.
There is a catch though. You must sign a two year emobile contract at 2900 yen a month and you must have a credit card.
The Emobile works like this. If you download up to 28MB you get charged 6900 yen. The good point though, is that after you reach this cap the skies the limit. You can download as much as you like unlimited and all you pay is 6900 yen!
