Earthquake? Buy a Cardboard House!

On a trip to my local disaster management center, Mike and I got to have a cup of tea in a 150,000 yen cardboard box! These are new cardboard houses for earthquakes and other emergencies, and slot together like a puzzle. Would you like to live in a cardboard box the size of a small apartment? Now you can!

Now I have seen the homeless make some pretty good cardboard houses but this is professional.

Indeed. I wonder why these things are so expensive, though. Seriously ... how much could cardboard cost? Perhaps it's because there hasn't been too much demand?

Wouldn't it be funny if the company that made these was charged for profiteering after a serious earthquake? :P

That would be funny but it they really want to be that wicked then they would deserve it.

The company president must kneel beside his bed every night and pray for an earthquake!

I wonder if making a nice profit off of war or an earthquake is illegal in Japan?
