Seems once again there's alot of myth coming from those not in the know about the Halloween Train. We were told on JapanProbe that few attended this past Saturday's event and it was very low key. Some commentators on other sites even said it was shut down.
Once again I must rise to the challenge to set right the misconceptions and errors of those who spread disinformation.
But check out the video and judge for yourself if the event was a bust or not.

Ha ha - I just found this. Awesome. Selling snowmen to the Japanese. People buy...I'll try it if I can get my hands on it....Not quite as bad as Nakashima Mika's version (honestly what could be?), but...OH wait a minute...it is damn pricey for just a three pack....This might actually be good. thanks! You at least understand that whether a person personally approves of something or not is immaterial if it is news. That's a problem with sites where news is subject to popular vote - bad/unpopular news is still news and this particular piece is to show that the opinions that it didn't happen were in error.

I like your tactics, Samurai Dave. You have more or less argued that this is a fun time and that everyone who sees otherwise is a puritan or whatever. Then you say its all about "the news" as a means of saying "don't disagree with my thoughts on the subject." Very subtle. Of course its all garbage, but that doesn't matter. It is the news after all, and what we have to say, never mind the nature of social bookmarking sites, is immaterial. Gotcha.

Well, maybe this is something I can get into on Halloween. I have heard that this years main train party is going down at shibuya station around 9:30 pm. Is there any truth to this samuraidave?
