Okonomiyaki spatula. I saw one at Okonomiyaki-Land.
Why does it have the spaces in it if it is a spatula though? Ventilation perhaps?
My second guess is some kind of foot scrubber.

Haven't you seen spatula with slots? In the pictured version, this oversize, colorful utensil features slots that allow the Okonomiyaki octopus to fall through when served, so it doesn't get served to vegetarians.

I haven't seen a spatula with slots. Usually, they don't have holes in them. I guess okonomiyaki spatulas do though. Hah.

I'll go with futon paddle. Not sure if paddle is the right word but what you use to hit a futon with to air it out, redistribute the filling, etc????
