Wouldn't it be more suspicious if they had been on different courses. I don't play golf, but wouldn't you naturally play better on the course you regularly practice on?

You'd think so, but no. It's all the little things that get in the way of a HIO (Hole In One) that makes it next to impossible to do the same thing twice.
I've HIO'd once in ten years but, after that first one, I never played that same hole as well again. Perhaps this is one of those differences between the amateurs and the pros

What kind of crazy insurance company offers people a pay out for just shooting a hole in one? Is there any real way to check and make sure that someone had actaully done it?
