Very nice rundown, and some links I've used before. Don't forget the Japan Sea side of Chukoku however. Shimane is my favorite prefecture to travel to, but I love my home in Hyogo.
Thanks for the tip David. I am tossing around the idea of doing an in-depth series on the various regions and will be sure to include Shimane when I work on Chukoku (and I won't forget Hyogo either.
