I don't watch Fox and that really has nothing to do with it anyways, but whatever.

Imposing trade sanctions increases the morbidity and mortality rates among the civilian population. In other words, poor people die. Japan should be so proud!

Well Nick you hit the nail on the head with that one. Trade sanctions do not effect the people they are aimed at. The leaders of North Korea are not suffering because of trade sanctions from Japan. The people of North Korea are suffering due to the actions of the Japanese government. This will only make it all the more easy for the leaders of the North to bread hate for Japan in the hearts and minds of the people.

Totally agree with Nick there - trade sanctions never hit the people they are supposedly aimed at because those people rarely care about the poor dying.
Had never heard of this Alex Jones guy but I checked out his about page and couldn't help but giggle at "featured as a prominent figure of the 9/11 Truth Movement in such publications as The New York Times, Vanity Fair, and Popular Mechanics." I think perhaps removing Popular Mechanics would be a good idea, don't you ?
He looks like someone with a lot of followers and it's always good to be aware of such people and keep an eye on what they are saying because truth doesn't always come from the "usual" sources.
Nevertheless this: "Jones' political activism began in the late 1990s when he spearheaded an effort to rebuild the Branch Davidian church near Waco, Texas." While I agree the authorities screwed up re: Waco - dismantling the movement of a megalomaniac paedophile was not the bit they got wrong.
Edit: Okay - put on his radio show for three minutes
- "slavery is invoked now and the black man is bringing it"
- record gun sales "is a positive revolution"
- "it's important that people are self sufficient, not just with guns but with food and water" followed by a rave on why we should be afraid in our homes and then an ad for a type of water to stock in said shelter, complete with Jan 22nd as the date to be terrified of - frightening people to make money? Classy.
Thanks for revealing the existence of this guy, Freedom, I honestly thought references to such people in the Onion and such were exaggerations and jokes. Geezus that's frightening.

I guess you just caught him on a bad day. Sometimes he goes over the edge and a lot of things he says gets taken out of context.
He is a difficult man for many people to understand. At times I even have a hard time following his line of thinking. Overall, he is a person with a good heart. After years of going up against some really evil stuff it kind of drives a person a little stir crazy.
