Debito reports on Kouno Taro's proposal to allow children with parents of different nationalities to hold dual citizenship. This is definitely a positive step forward for Japan and international couples!

Indeed. I'd love it if my future kids can have both Canadian and Japanese citizenship
Just to be unpopular, I don't believe in dual nationality, on the whole, as there's more to it than just a different-coloured passport.
