More sci-fi into reality in Japan. I've seen artificial waves and beaches but this giant beach "pod" is quite freaky for it's post-oops feel. Some good pictures, too.

What do you think they do with a place like that when it closes? It's so huge and purpose-built. It would be eery if it were jsut abandoned like those theme parks...
