A welcome addition to Shinjuku's skyline, or a hideous eye sore....Cocoon Tower is hard to come to an opinion on one way or the other as viewing it from different angles produces very different looks. After a few months of looking at it, I still don't even know if I like it or not.

I did a parody of the article...True, that D300 price is not so different fron new. If the guarantee is 12months on...I misread the title. I have seen this thing down in Shinjuku and was wondering that the hell it was.
Tokyo is known for some of its strange architecture, but I like this one. It fits in with the rest of the skyscrapers pretty well. I watched a lightning storm over Shinjuku during the summer and the image of the Cocoon tower among all the other buildings is still firmly etched in my mind.
I can imagine how amazing that must have looked.
