Pass the Tissues, Beefy Beef Prices Coming Soon!

You won't be surprised to hear that the price of beef is set to increase by 15 yen per 100 grams. Everything else costs more, so it's only fair, right? What makes this so amusing is the 25,000 packs of tissues that will be given out in Tokyo explaining the reasons for the price hike. Only in Japan do you get public service announcements from a pack of tissues. :sigh:

Bloody cows probably kicked up stink! Just as long as I get a packet of tissues, I don't care! But believe me, there will be hell to pay if I don't get any! (It will be discrimination against gaijin mmm that's what it will be!!)

Hey, I like the free tissue - it comes in handy some times! Let me just say that Japanese public facilities don't always offer TP...

It may be a waste of marketing money but I'm happy to help the folks who hand them out finish their work for the day.

Do people really love tissues or beef this much? This is now the equal top Soc'ed story. The excitement is too much and I'll have to go lie down...
