Japan's Supreme Court ruled Wednesday against a law that denied citizenship to children born out of wedlock to Japanese fathers and foreign mothers, a court official said.

Wow hooray as Nick said it "for common sense" God this is certainly one for the books and still can't believe these women won their case. While it is common sense, we are talking about the Japanese government here!!
