Oh no. Is this why my wife and mother-in-law have been telling me an earthquake is coming? I didn't realize it was another one of Jucelino's predictions.

Jesus Christ, not this idiot again. He's made false predictions over and over again and but people still pay attention to him! When he 'predicts' something and gets it right, the 'prediction' is always announced to the public after the event is over.
Jucelino Nobrega da Luz is a scam artist who has been repeatedly proven wrong.

Pity it can't be flagged as funny. Of course it's a scam! LOL That was the point of submitting it - sheesh guess I'd better put my sense of humor away. I thought the point of this site was to have a community that talks to each other - not a serious news site.

If that was your intent, you could have written in your description that the information in the article is totally false. The man did not predict 9/11, and his prediction rate is closer to 0% than 90%.

Dasian, I have no idea how this grudge started but what ever I did I apologize - could you stop it now, please and treat my soc's the same as anyone elses?

I don't have a grudge against you, DBR. If I've buried your stuff in the past it was probably because trash scum journalism sites they came from, not because you submitted them.

Personally I think it's an interesting story even if I believe that it's all a load of crap. More interesting because of the reaction to it than anything else. That and the chance to ponder "if I knew the big one was going to happen this weekend, what would I do?"
Soc'ed.

That was more what my thoughts were in submitting them.
Dasian - I appreciate you have a prob with JT but htey have no interest in this site and you make no comment to them or have any effect on them whatsoever by burying them - they don't give a damn.
Any burying is a comment about whether they should be socc'd here and a comment on the person who submitted it - perhaps you should think about that before flailing uselessly at the "trash scum".
Lets take a leaf from awh's book and maybe discuss the issue or better still, write a blog post about how appalling JT is and we'll all help get it publicity for you.

These nuts are all over the place. I'm surprised they get so much publicity while accurate staticians are all but forgotten. I guess this goes to show why weather-people are still employed. People like hearing the wrong stuff -_-

Japan Probe looked at him before:

A fraud, of course!
My most irritating fraud, however, is that Heidi woman on Shimura san's Zoo who can "talk to animals". She has a very nice way with creatures, I must admit, but when she does the "telepathy" bit it fair gets on my tits. It's the usual heavily-edited and dubbed, of course, and who knows how much she gets primed by the show. One of the first times she was on the dog wanted his special *some colour* ball, but I looked up on the net afterwards and that colour is one of the ones what dogs cannot distinguish.

LOL classic!! It is amazing how many of these people even have made themselves an empire out of it though it does stop being funny when they are preying on vulnerable people's emotions and desire to believe in something beyond what they can see... It is always fascinating to watch people like this in action though, you can learn a lot about people by watching carefully how they manipulate their subjects.

Darn it! There was a big earthquake near Hokkaido today. It came 3 days earlier than predicted and in a completely different place, but it will be enough for Jucelino fans to keep their faith.
