I did a parody of the article...True, that D300 price is not so different fron new. If the guarantee is 12months on...I misread the title. I would have been very shocked and saddened. The truth of the matter is that it was not needed to bomb Japan. At that time Japan was going to loose the ability to fight within two months.
I think it was done more to scare the hell out of the entire world than ending the war with Japan.
