This is a great article! Ha ha ha. It had me giggling from the start. Some of the romanization is weird, but the guy knows his stuff. Very fun. (When I started reading I had assumed that it would be about memorizing specific font types to avoid confusion with シ (shi) and ツ (tsu) and also between ソ (so) and ン (n). Those are just awful in some fonts.)

Ugh ... my wife always makes fun of my ソ and ン. She says I either spell my name like ジェイソソ (Jasoso) or ジェインソ (Janso).
Perhaps one day I'll be lucky enough to perfect my Katakana. I just hope I never mistakenly write マンコ instead of マンゴー. I'd hate to send my mother in-law a message saying I love to eat watches -_-

I thought so too Deas. I'm forever sounding out words substituting 'n' for 'so' and 'shi' for 'tsu' to see which makes sense. It quite entertaining when it still doesn't make sense because the original word isn't English in the first place- makes me think that I am losing it!
