This looks like a lot of fun but it's too bad the article doesn't list some of the bars where you can take part?
I remember a group of English teachers chipping in and buying one of these machines for a "gaijin bar" in Nagoya about 10 years ago (the long closed Santa Barbara). Even then I thought it had great potential (if overpriced to play) so it's cool to see it finally taking off!
