This week holds the 63rd anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. How important is it for us to reflect on this dark anniversary?

My tour group in May spent time with a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing and he described in detail his experience and how he was lucky to survive (or, as he said, not so lucky due to the things he had to witness). It was very moving.
