In part two of my ongoing series, Reiko and I made a trip to Honda Cars Gifu just down the road to examine the Fit. Somewhere along the way, we were also roped in to looking at the Freed, Stream and Stepwagon. While I didn't get any (usable) information on the Stepwagon, I did have a pretty good discussion with the salesperson regarding the other three.

Hey Matigo,
Just to let you know my first car was a Fit" well a 2003 "Jazz" as it is badged in Australia ( I was 30 when I got my license lol). It is a BEAUTIFUL car feels a lot more solid than most small cars (haven't been in a Tiida, though) and Honda have not skimped on quality (as Mercedes does on their baby cars) it will last you years and years. For the last 2 years we actually gave it to my Aunt to use (since we had a company car suddenly) and she lives in a rural area in Australia and drove 45mins at 110k to and from work everyday and never had any issues or even extra costs at the standard services.
The space inside is stunning - we moved everything from a full sized floor rug to a 14place setting dishwasher and god knows how many boxes when moving lol.
The ride and handling are fantastic and the equal of a larger car - in fact the handling got me into a scary situation once: I was parked in what had become a tight spot near some traffic lights I pulled out of the spot and stopped at the lights and a guy came running across the road at me. He was clearly drunk and was making "put the window down" gestures - terrified i cracked the window just enough to not make him angry and he shouted at me "Geezus lady your car moves SIDEWAYS!!! That was AWESOME" lol
Anyway I highly recommend them. ^_^ (And clearly miss mine lol)

You saw the Fit, the Freed, the Stream and the Stepwagon. What about the rest of the alphabet? No, wait. Fit Freed Stream and Stepwagon - isn't that a law firm?
