And do they come gaijin-size?...That's not very surprising to me. Almost comparable with American society.

Wow, he said "gaijin" 38 times in that article! I'm glad I'm not offended by the term. Sometimes it's weird when you catch a glimpse of yourself in a store mirror and are reminded how different you look from everyone else.
I thought this was a weird article. Just because one person more strongly identifies with an outsider existence does not mean that others aren't bothered by having it thrust upon them. I mean, I don't think that's the point of the article, I'm just commenting. But yeah.
Then I return to my Gaijin-ness like a person shaking off a dream, not sure for an instance of my true whereabouts, only knowing that {I am alone and surrounded}
The last part was written like a true oxymoron, but nicely done. You need to come to grips with yourself. This way you'll be happier.
