The fast-moving beverage product cycle in Japan continues unabated (as usual), and recent trends have pointed to minty flavors in a variety of areas. Beverage giant Kirin has now released two new drinks along these lines designed to beat the summer heat.

I tried the mint julep today - definitely minty but there was an odd tanginess which I think was there to emulate the sting of alcohol but didn't really achieve it except maybe tasting a little fermented lol
I tried this about a week ago. I was on my way to the train station in Aoi and was thirsty as well. I wanted to try something different so I grabbed a bottle at the 7-11. It was hard to drink actually. I bit too sour for me.
Menthol in my coffee?. Does not sound tasty. The minty soda sounds ok. On the level of Squash soda. (Whatever "squash" means). By the way, anyone using "Let's" or "Lets" in any reference to Japan, must pay me a royalty. It's the law. .
