Need a superior Japanese knives?

Public tourist direction board for superior Japanese knives- to what end? Aid the serial-killer on his way to a blood-bath? I can't think of any other reason.

One of my main aims during my sojourn here in Japan is to pick up some extraordinary knives. I'm a keen cook and chefs around the world come to Japan for their knives. I guess a lot of people come to Japan for Hello Kitty stuff - those in the know come for knives :)

My only issue with this soc is that it wasn't there before I left for Tokyo three days ago lol.

I went to a very nice, traditional knife store in Kawagoe recently. It would be a great place to get a handmade knife.

Japanese knives seem to ever go dull for some reason. Good quality for sure. Although, the one knife I do have is not used so often.
