Why is it that mothers of young Japanese kids always drive such huge "mini" vans? Have you seen them? I understand how you may need a little room for a push chair and groceries, but you could fit half a sumo stable in these cars. Is it the pressure from "mama groups", or is it really necessary to drive a van built for 8 people?
